Meet the team

I’m Will.

I’ve recently only started my barbering career and I’m so glad I discovered it.  I’ve never been afraid to try something new, I’ve just now found a passion of mine.  The main element I love about this industry is it allows for me to tap into my creative side.  Also meeting new people from all walks of life and the stories that come along with them.  I’ve been very grateful to learn from the team at Barbers on Murray, hoping to continue and make this a lifestyle.

I’m Brendan.

And I’m from the UK. I’m currently in the process of moving to Port Macquarie with my wife Leah and my two young children to begin our new life in Australia!
I’ve been cutting hair professionally for over 8 years now and adore the job. I’m a perfectionist, so this career allows me to indulge in that aspect of my personality.
I Can’t wait to formally join the Barbers on Murray team and slot into the Port Macquarie community. – See you all soon!

I’m Eddie.
I’ve been In the industry for 35 years. I originally grew up in Wollongong, and moved to Port Macquarie to start Barbers on Murray. Hair Dressing has always been my passion and having this barbershop has allowed me to channel everything I’ve learnt throughout my career into one store. I’m so grateful for the Port Macquarie community, and my passionate team.

Our Story 

Barbers on Murray is the love child of 35 years in the hairdressing industry. A business built on passion, creativity, and a desire to provide for the local Port Macquarie community.

In 2015, Eddie Smith opened this Port Macquarie barbershop as the sole owner/operator. Quickly, Barbers on Murray has flourished, currently hosting three full-time Barbers, including Eddie.

“My business is unique, my clients are presented with a modern Barbershop experience that’s built on phenomenal haircuts, beard trims, and face shaves, all at a reasonable cost. If you want help, we are here to assist. Whether you’re chasing the best look, the right product, or just want a chat.

“And that’s what we pride ourselves on, we are here for the community, just as much as they are here for us.”

This Port Macquarie Barbershop is about providing an excellent experience to the customer. “Our job is to make our clients feel good.” 

And that starts well before you get into our barber chair. Air conditioning, a relaxed ambiance, and cleanliness are what you can expect from the Barbers on Murrays salon. With plenty of street parking available and a stone through away from the bustling Port Macquarie CBD, we hope to see you soon.
